Welcome to Blackstone Valley NEMBA

Building and protecting mountain bike trails in the Blackstone Valley.

Blackstone Valley NEMBA is the local chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association serving riders across the Blackstone Valley region of Massachusetts.

We work with towns, land managers, and community partners to build and maintain sustainable trails, expand access, and promote responsible riding.

Our trails are volunteer built. Our rides are community led. Our access is earned through long-term relationships and consistent stewardship.

Trail Projects & Updates

Mills to Miles — Millbury

The Mills to Miles initiative launched this winter, marking a long-term investment in Millbury’s outdoor infrastructure. Early planning and coordination are underway, with funding support approved and next-phase logistics taking shape.

This project represents sustained collaboration with town leadership and a multi-year commitment to trail development.

Holliston Bike Park

Momentum continues in Holliston. Planning work is advancing, and the chapter approved $30,000 in support to move the project forward. The focus remains on durable design, long-term sustainability, and community benefit.

Updates and volunteer opportunities will be shared as milestones are reached.

Get Involved

Volunteer, lead rides, or help behind the scenes.

Volunteers are the engine of the chapter. Trail work, rides, events, admin—none of it happens without people showing up.

If you’ve got a few hours, we’ll put them to good use. If you’ve got a skill (tools, logistics, comms, mapping, photography, first aid), even better.

Stay in the loop

Trail updates • Events • Volunteer days

We send an email when there’s something worth sharing—trail work dates, access updates, ride schedules, and project notes. No weekly noise.

  • Upcoming rides, clinics, and chapter meetings (dates + locations)
  • Trail work days and volunteer opportunities
  • Trail conditions and access updates
  • Community notes and occasional member highlights

Our Core Values

Sustainability • Community • Adventure • Advocacy • Education

We build sustainably, show up for each other, and keep access strong by doing the work and keeping trust with land managers. Riding is the fun part—but stewardship is the reason we get to keep doing it.
