Blackstone Valley NEMBA · Trail Guide
Ride Areas
Five trail networks. Hundreds of miles of singletrack. Everything you need to find your line — from conditions to trailheads to the best beginner routes in the region.
Where to ride
Trails built and maintained by riders, for riders
Blackstone Valley NEMBA stewards trail networks across south-central Massachusetts — from the flowy jump lines of Vietnam in Milford and Holliston to the skills park and technical terrain at West Hill Dam in Uxbridge. Each network has its own character, its own history, and its own volunteer crew keeping it rideable.
Select a network below to get full trail details, current conditions, parking, suggested routes, and a live Trailforks map. Not sure where to start? West Hill Dam is live now with a complete guide, Vietnam too! The others are coming soon(ish).
New to mountain biking in the Blackstone Valley? Start with West Hill Dam. Its wide range of
beginner-friendly trails, clear wayfinding, and central location make it one of the most
approachable places to build confidence and skills.
Ride ratings can vary significantly between trail networks. For example, a green trail at
Vietnam
may feel more like a blue—or even a black—at other locations. Choose routes that match your
comfort level and progress at your own pace.

Shared responsibility
Trail etiquette across all networks
Yield to hikers and horses
Slow down and communicate before passing. A friendly word goes further than a bell.
Stay on marked trails
Shortcuts damage roots, cause erosion, and put access agreements at risk. Ride what's there.
Don't ride wet trails
Soft ground compresses permanently. If it's muddy, come back when it's dry. Conditions live on Trailforks.
Pack out what you pack in
Trailheads are volunteer-maintained. Leave them cleaner than you found them.
Report trail hazards
Downed trees, damaged bridges, erosion issues — log them on Trailforks so crews can respond.
Volunteer once a season
These trails exist because riders show up with tools. Trail work events are listed on the chapter calendar.
